Abstract
The following article is based on a hemerographic research about El Mundo, Mexico City’s evening newspaper directed by the writer Martín Luis Guzmán, in his Journalist phase. This newspaper circulated between 1922 and 1923 featuring Mexican public life facts and Guzmán’s opinion, in times of a political crisis and a minimum social stability. Nevertheless, that relative balance was altered by the presidential election of 1924, where Guzman’s political character became relevant through his public actions as a writer and politician.
