Abstract

The issue of electronic book (e-book) has significant attention both nationally and internationally in the field of Library Science and related disciplines. This bibliography provides reference sources published since 1988 until last quarter of 2015, in an effort to aid librarians collecting materials for e-books research. Therefore, this bibliography will be useful to all researchers conducting research in any topics related to e-books. There are two fundamental reasons why e-book is of particular importance. According to the literature reviewed, computer usage continues to grow exponentially, and the desire of users to use electronic publications has increased tremendously. This has led to the publication of materials in electronic form. The electronic book (e-book) is one of the several forms of e-publications and its popularity has been growing steadily for the past decade. The information included in this bibliography is collected systematically from all published sources in the world such as journals and books articles, books, conference and proceedings papers, and theses on e-books, available both in print and digital. This select bibliography of international materials only provides references from the literature published on the subject of e-books.
