Abstract
Brief approach towards the commercial networking and distribution of books between Sevilla and New Spain, during the years of 1630-1684. With this objective it is intended to reconstruct the circuit of main actors in the commerce of books towards New Spain. These such actors can include since those who sent the boxes from Sevilla to those who received these boxes in New Spain, that its to say, the carriers the book traders, booksellers, clergymen and individuals, among others. In order to achieve this objective, we will use the Ships Log Records to New Spain, which is located in the General Archive of the Indias, in Sevilla, Spain. Also, an annex with the name of carriers, senders and consignees of the books throughout the years of study will be offered. For the moment, it is not my intention to elaborate a descriptive list of the titles of the memoirs, but rather to offer an introductory information that will allow an understanding of the dimension of the book importation market to the Viceroyalty throughout 50 years.
