Abstract
The aim of this annotated bibliography is to offer a compilation of references to the works kept by the National Library that deal with the development and spread of printing in Mexico during the first decades of the nation's independence. It covers the period 1822-1854, a time when the emergence and disappearance of presses followed the same rhythm as the historical upheavals taking place in the country.
