Bio-bibliographic portrait in which the author refers to the work of the illustrious Spanish historian, bibliographer, paleographer and library scholar José Ignacio Mantecón Navasal (1902-1982) Exiled in Mexico since 1940 after the Spanish Civil War, Dr. Mantecón Navasal developed a long and fruitful labor mainly in the fields of bibliography, librarianship and paleography.
