Abstract
The works of this outstanding friar are essential to understanding not only the activities of the Franciscans in the north of New Spain, but also the social, economic, political and cultural conditions prevailing in the region. As the chronicler for the northern expedition, he was able to see at first hand what went on between the missionaries and the natives in those far-flung places, and his critical attention to detail has left us interesting records of that journey. This is a bibliography of works about Father Morfin.
