Abstract
History comprises historical facts such as revolutionary facts. Based on the author thesis, the definition of historiography would be the writing in which these facts are recorded. Therefore, here are considered some writings whose subject is the Mexican revolution. Attuned to the Revolution centennial there are four essential ways to interpret this historical fact: As a period of social chaos and banditry; as an agrarian ideal; as a “modernizing” revolution or as a bourgeois-democratic revolution.
